Training

Training and support program details: Genie Senior Services franchisees are required to undergo mandatory training prior to the opening and operation of their Franchised Business, the costs of which are included in the Initial Franchise Fee. The initial training program will run for no longer than 7 days and will cover the management and operation of the Franchised Business. The initial training program will be available to the Principal and one Designated Manager (unless otherwise determined by the Franchisor). Any other additional individual involved in the day-to-day operations of the Franchised Business may attend our training program at your expense. The initial training program will include a minimum half-day of training on each of the following subject matter: Business overview and planning Infield training (moving and consults) Operational procedures Marketing systems Technology systems training Sales/networking and branding Training will take place at the training location in Surrey, British Columbia OR in the Franchisees location at a cost. The Franchisor reserves the right to hold one or more elements of the training program in Vancouver, British Columbia, or virtually through online platforms. All costs associated with Principals and Designated Managers attending the initial training program (travel, accommodation and foregone salaries etc) will be borne entirely by Genie Senior Services franchisees. From time to time we will also provide refresher training and other guidance at your expense. Principals and Designated Managers must successfully complete such training as determined in the Franchisor’s discretion. The Franchisor will generally be available to provide reasonable support, advice and information based on your particular requirements. All such training and other guidance shall be at the sole cost and expense of the Genie Senior Services franchisees.
